Job Summary
Our client seeks a proficient CT Technologist skilled in handling Philips CT Scanners, specifically the 64-slice Ingenuity and 256-slice Brilliance. The role primarily involves operating in a high-acuity Level 2 Trauma Center, managing both emergency and inpatient scans. This position is ideal for candidates who excel in high-pressure environments and can independently manage CT operations, including planning combo-scans and collaborating directly with ER medical staff.
Responsibilities
- Operate Philips CT Scanners efficiently in a high-volume ER setting.
- Manage the Emergency Room CT suite and inpatient scans.
- Plan and execute combo-scans safely and independently.
- Collaborate with ER doctors and nurses to provide accurate and timely imaging support.
- Assist across modalities, particularly in X-ray, if needed.
Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements
Education
- Certifications: ARRT (CT), California CRT (with Fluoroscopy permit), IV Certification
Qualifications
- High proficiency with Philips CT Scanners.
- Experience with Cerner and iSite/IntelliSpace PACS systems.
- 5+ years of dedicated CT experience preferred, with autonomy in scan planning and shift management.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of dedicated CT experience.
Skills
- Technical skills: Proficiency with Philips equipment and Cerner/iSite PACS systems.
- Soft skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
Schedule / Shift
The position requires working Friday through Tuesday with varying shift start times and provides two consecutive days off (Wednesday and Thursday.
