We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our premier, outpatient imaging center in Smyrna, TN. In this role, you will work focused exclusively on CT procedures, providing high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring exceptional patient safety and comfort.
This is a structured, fast-paced outpatient setting featuring a consistent workflow with direct on-site radiologist support. Key Responsibilities
- High-Volume Diagnostic Imaging: Perform high-quality routine CT scans, including both non-contrast and contrast-enhanced studies for a volume of 25 to 35 scans per day.
- Equipment Operations: Comfortably operate advanced imaging technology utilizing a Lightspeed 64 Slice scanner.
- Advanced Skill Training: Manage independent reconstruction workflows, seamlessly adapting to an outpatient environment where processing is handled directly by the technologist.
- Direct Patient Care: Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population of all ages while administering contrast injections in accordance with established safety protocols.
- Documentation & EMR: Maintain meticulous patient charting and imaging records utilizing the PACS InteleViewer system (full on-site system training provided).
Schedule & Work Environment
- Setting: Outpatient Imaging Center (Patients scheduled every 15 minutes, 25-35 scans per day)
- Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Work-Life Balance: No on-call requirements, no evenings, and zero weekends!
- Patient Population: General patient population of all ages, with zero high-risk cases processed at this location.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Licensing: Active Tennessee State License is highly desired (but not an absolute requirement to be considered).
- Certifications: Must be ARRT Registered with a dedicated ARRT (CT) credential and hold an active BLS certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of dedicated CT scanner experience is required to ensure a smooth transition into the workflow.
Preferred
- Prior experience utilizing PACS InteleViewer systems.
- Prior experience handling independent scan reconstructions in an outpatient imaging setting.
