Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Maintenance Technician to efficiently perform corrective and preventative maintenance on facility systems and ensure all facilities operate safely. Primary responsibilities include installing and repairing various materials and components to maintain an efficient environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs corrective and preventative maintenance on facility systems including lighting, plumbing, doors, flooring, and fixtures.
- Installs and repairs flooring materials including, carpet, ceramic, and vinyl.
- Completes drywall repairs, painting, framing, patching, and texturing as needed.
- Conducts basic HVAC maintenance and performs light electrical and plumbing repairs.
- Maintains compliance with applicable local, state, and federal codes.
- Operates tools and equipment for maintenance tasks and coordinates with vendors as needed.
- Works closely with staff to support workflow efficiency and maintain a patient-friendly environment.
Pay: $19-23/hr
Location: North Tempe
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years’ experience in industrial, commercial, or healthcare facility maintenance.
- Must hold a valid Arizona driver’s license.
- Vocational, technical, or apprenticeship training preferred.
- Prior experience in healthcare or laboratory facilities maintenance preferred.
