Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mammogram Technologist to perform diagnostic mammography and X-ray examinations. The primary responsibilities include producing high-quality images, adhering to radiation safety protocols, and performing quality control tests as mandated by state regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic mammography and X-ray examinations following department protocols.
• Produce copies of radiographic and mammographic images as needed, on film or CD.
• Ensure radiation safety and utilize shields to reduce patient exposure.
• Perform quality control and quality assurance testing on mammography units.
• Assist in clerical duties including patient data input and scheduling.
• Rotate and cover shifts as needed for patient care and department needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology training program.
• ARRT and State of Massachusetts registered in Radiography and Mammography.
• Certification and clinical experience in Mammography.
• CPR certified and ability to maintain certification annually.

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in a high volume environment.

Skills

• Bilingual abilities preferred.
• Experience with EPIC preferred.
