Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced PFS Manager for an insurance collections role. The primary responsibility will be to handle and manage insurance collections, including working on appeals, handling denials, and managing a variety of payor mixes. The role requires a metrics-driven approach with a focus on working efficiently with different insurance providers.

Responsibilities / Job Duties

• Manage insurance collections and handle appeals and denials.
• Work with various payor mixes including Medicare, Cigna, Humana, and Med Advantage.
• Touch 50 accounts per day and maintain high-quality standards as audited monthly.
• Engage in a 2-week training program with ongoing development.
• Ensure metrics are met and manage ramp-up period to 50 accessions within 90 days.

Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements

Experience

• 3+ years of insurance collections experience.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge with a required proficiency test.
• Experience working with appeals and denials is essential.
• Experience with Lab/Xifin/genetic testing is a plus.

Skills

• Advanced skills in Excel.
• Understanding of the denials/appeals process.
• Experience with CMS-1500 forms.
• Strictly in collections, not full cycle experience preferred.

Schedule / Shift

Can start as early as 6 AM PST, with an 8-hour shift. Training will start between 6 AM-7 AM PST, and they can later flex up to 8 AM PST.
