Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to ensure the smooth operation of clinical offices. The primary responsibilities include patient interaction, assisting with clinical tasks, and coordinating patient care activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, obtain reports and records, and assist with patient flow.
- Interact directly with patients, obtain vital signs, and perform EKGs and phlebotomy.
- Assist with examinations, procedures, lab tests, and medication administration under supervision.
- Manage patient flow, assist with special procedures, and ensure timely documentation and communication.
- Complete requisitions/orders and maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement and continuing education programs.
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant Diploma required.
- Active BLS certification required.
- EPIC EMR experience preferred.
- Seeking individuals who are reliable, motivated, and eager to work.
Schedule
Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM with some flexibility required.
