Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to perform comprehensive medical evaluations and formulate treatment plans for various urgent and emergent care cases including adult and pediatric patients. The position entails delivering clinical services in multiple environments, including clinical centers, telemedicine video consults, and patient homes.
Responsibilities / Job Duties
- Perform medical evaluations and formulate comprehensive differential diagnoses/treatment plans for urgent and emergent care cases.
- Deliver clinical services in multiple environments, including clinical centers, virtual consults, and patient homes.
- Execute medical procedures including peripheral IV placement, administration of fluids/medications, and POC testing.
- Triage incoming clinical needs and document all evaluations and treatments within an EHR platform.
- Coordinate patient care workflows alongside physicians, nurses, and medical partners.
- Manage virus-related cases including sample collection and general symptom management.
- Ensure high-quality care delivery in alignment with clinical directors and organizational policies.
Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree and a graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Qualifications
- Valid and active Nurse Practitioner (NP) state license with the ability to practice in the state of California.
- Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
- Proven proficiency in technical nursing skills such as peripheral IV placement and phlebotomy.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to navigate electronic health records and collaboration platforms.
- Preferred 2 to 3 years of progressive Nurse Practitioner experience in emergency or urgent care settings.
Schedule / Shift
- 32 hours per week
- Shift: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Schedule: Full-Time, including rotating holidays and weekends
