Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join their primary care team. The successful candidate will provide patient support through various communication modalities, assist in patient care coordination, handle communications with pharmacies and labs, and manage quality initiatives in collaboration with clinical care staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients via telephone or other modalities as part of the primary care team, including callbacks.
- Assist in patient care through the collection and sharing of health information with the provider and care team members.
- Provide healthcare support services for all patients, adhering to clinic protocols and community practice standards.
- Coordinate patient care needs and manage calls and correspondence related to pharmacy, lab, and referrals.
- Actively manage quality initiatives in collaboration with providers and clinical staff.
- Create and support an environment of teamwork, cooperation, and respect.
- Maintain positive communication and professional demeanor with coworkers and patients.
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
- Attend required training sessions.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Currently holds a valid and active CMA certification/registration.
- 2+ years of experience working as a CMA.

- Technical skills in patient care management and communication.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
