Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support physicians and providers in a high-volume internal medicine office. The primary focus will be providing assistance in Cardiology, Pulmonary, Internal Medicine, and Rheumatology departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently room 25+ patients daily, obtain vital signs, reconcile medications, and update medical histories in the EMR.
• Perform EKGs and manage Holter Monitor application and removal.
• Conduct Pulmonary Function Testing (PFTs) and supervise 6-minute walk tests.
• Administer injections and assist with minor in-office procedures.
• Provide clear patient instructions regarding monitor care, test preparations, and follow-up instructions.
• Manage prior authorizations for cardiac testing and ensure proper documentation of all results.

Qualifications

• CMA required.
• MA Diploma from reputable CAAHEP Credentialed Organization.

Experience

• 2 years of Ambulatory Experience required.
• Proficient in Pulmonary Function Testing, Holter monitor experience preferred.
• EPIC software experience preferred.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday 7:45am-4:15pm
