Position Type: Full-Time Contract (Potential for Contract-to-Hire)
Duration: 480 Hours (Approximately 3 months)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (No weekends/holidays)
Pay Rate: $37.00 – $58.00 / hour (Compensation is highly competitive and based on experience: 1–3 years of experience will trend toward the lower end; 5+ years of experience will trend toward the higher end).
About the Role
We are seeking an adaptable and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join an elite surgical clinic team in Spokane as an OR Circulator. Operating in a fast-paced environment handling 9 to 12 cases per day, this role is vital to ensuring surgical safety, efficiency, and exceptional patient care.
While this position is initially open as a contract assignment to support immediate clinic needs, there is a strong possibility of converting to a permanent, contract-to-hire role for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities

OR Management: Manage and coordinate the overall operating room environment before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Patient Safety & Sterile Field: Maintain strict sterile fields, advocate for patient safety, and monitor the surgical team's compliance with safety protocols.

Documentation: Accurately document comprehensive perioperative nursing care within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

Surgical Collaboration: Actively assist the surgical and operations team to ensure smooth transitions between cases.
Required Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Ability to handle stressful, rapidly changing clinical conditions with a calm demeanor.

Strong communication skills with a firm understanding of when and how to escalate clinical situations.
Preferred Qualifications

3 to 5 years of experience as an OR Circulator or in a highly similar surgical RN role.

Proficiency with EPIC software or similar EHR platforms.

Strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel) and a demonstrated ability to learn new software quickly.
