X-ray Technologist (Outpatient – Ortho & General Diagnostic Focus)

Salary: $2,575 – $3,055 / week (depending on experience)

We are seeking a skilled X-ray Technologist to join our premier, high-volume outpatient imaging center in New Hartford, NY. In this role, you will work alongside a collaborative clinical team to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging across a diverse patient population, ranging from adolescents to geriatrics.
This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment featuring 3 dedicated X-ray rooms handling approximately 120 scans per day. Key Responsibilities: High-Volume Diagnostic Imaging: Perform high-quality routine x-ray scans, including heavy orthopedics, general diagnostic scans, and some pain management support.
Equipment Operations: Comfortably operate advanced imaging technology within Siemens and GE X-ray rooms.
Advanced Skill Training: Utilize or actively train in specialized clinical workflows, including C-arm and fluoroscopy procedures (prior experience is a plus, but the facility is willing to train).
Direct Patient Care: Provide compassionate, efficient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations while ensuring proper radiation safety protocols.
Documentation & EMR: Maintain meticulous patient charting and imaging records utilizing Epic EMR and GE PACS.
Schedule & Work Environment Setting: High-Volume Outpatient Imaging Center (3 X-ray rooms) Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM – 5:15 PM
Work-Life Balance: No on-call requirements, no holidays, and zero weekends! Patient Volume: High-volume pace averaging 120 total scans per day across the team, requiring strong efficiency and teamwork.
Qualifications & Skills Required: Licensing: Must possess an active New York State X-Ray License.
Certifications: Must be ARRT Registered.
Attributes: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively within a high-volume outpatient setting.
Preferred: Prior experience utilizing Epic EMR and GE PACS. Prior experience with C-arm and fluoroscopy workflows.
