Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Service Coordinator to join our client. The primary responsibilities of this role include managing patient scheduling and coordination, providing financial and administrative support, and ensuring effective patient relations and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Appointment Management: Schedule, cancel, and reschedule appointments in accordance with provider guidelines.
- Provider Calendar Maintenance: Maintain scheduling books, including meetings, satellite schedules, and call coverage.
- Referral Processing: Handle referrals, assign account numbers, and secure necessary authorizations.
- Outpatient & Hospital Coordination: Schedule outpatient appointments, diagnostic testing, and hospital admissions.
- Insurance Verification: Obtain pre-certifications and document referral authorizations.
- Payment Collection: Collect co-pays, deductibles, and out-of-pocket amounts at time of visit.
- Financial Counseling: Arrange financial assistance counseling for patients in need.
- Communication: Handle scheduling calls and provide appointment details.
- Attendance Tracking: Document no-shows, follow up on missed visits, and notify clinic personnel of changes.
- Compliance & Teamwork: Maintain patient confidentiality and cross-train for other administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications

- Medical Office Experience
