Job Summary
As a Certified Medical Assistant at our client, you will play a critical role in ensuring patient-centered care and operational effectiveness. Your responsibilities will include direct patient care, clinical support, and laboratory services, along with leadership and operations support to maintain high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct Patient Care: Facilitate patient rooming, vital signs capture, and documentation of medical history as per established nursing protocols.
- Clinical Support: Assist with examinations and procedures, ensuring communication for quality outcomes.
- Laboratory Services: Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Workflow Coordination: Organize patient flow to align with physician schedules.
- Daily Oversight: Act as the primary contact for clinic operations, addressing or escalating issues.
- Staff Supervision: Lead front-line staff, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Quality Assurance: Audit medical tests and collaborate on best practices.
- Training & Compliance: Deliver staff training and enforce care protocols.
- Resource Management: Oversee medical supplies and equipment functionality.
- Strategic Alignment: Advocate for organizational values and goals.
- General Support: Provide duties that enhance clinic efficiency.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- MA Certification.
- BLS Certification.
Experience
1+ years of experience is required, with a background in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine preferred.
