Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant responsible for various facets of clinical operations and patient care. The role ensures seamless workflow coordination by providing direct patient care, supporting physicians, performing laboratory services, and overseeing clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Rooms patients, captures vital signs, and documents medical history according to nursing protocols.
- Assists physicians with examinations and procedures, ensuring quality outcomes.
- Collects and prepares laboratory specimens for processing.
- Monitors physician schedules and organizes patient flow for timely visits.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for clinic operations, addressing issues or escalating them when necessary.
- Leads front-line staff and delegates duties to maintain adherence to standards.
- Audits ordered tests for timely results and collaborates on implementing best practices.
- Conducts staff training, reviews care protocols, and enforces infection prevention guidelines.
- Monitors medical supplies and equipment functionality, reporting maintenance needs.
- Acts as a steward of the organizational mission, values, and departmental goals.
- Performs additional duties to support clinic efficiency and relationship-based care.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- MA Certification
- BLS Certification

- 1+ years of experience in a relevant field
