Title: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Summary: We are seeking an organized, dedicated, and professional Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who prioritizes thoughtful, comprehensive care over quick prescribing. Our ideal candidate takes the time to assess the full clinical picture—ensuring that underlying medical conditions are not contributing to mental health symptoms—and deeply values collaboration as a cornerstone of effective treatment. In this role, you will provide psychiatric care for clients of all ages, including children, as we expand our intensive mental health treatment options. You will be fully backed by a strong clinical team, including a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) who manages all pending prescriptions and prior authorizations, intentionally freeing you up to focus entirely on high-quality patient visits.
Day to Day:
-
Provide psychiatric medication management services for clients of all ages, managing a manageable volume of 8–12 clients per day.
-
Deliver a minimum of 20 hours (up to 30 hours) of direct billable patient care per week.
-
Manage and oversee the Spravato/Ketamine clinic, ensuring strict compliance with REMS requirements, administering medications, taking vitals, and providing continuous patient observation.
-
Educate clients on medications and treatment options to support informed, autonomous decision-making.
-
Order laboratory tests and urine drug screens as needed in accordance with company policies.
-
Complete additional clinical documentation and specialized services, including FMLA documentation, Emotional Support Animal (ESA) letters, GLP-1 treatment services, and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT).
Qualifications:
-
Active, unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license in New Hampshire with a PMHNP specialization.
-
Current DEA, ACLS, and BLS certifications.
-
Comfort and clinical competence working with children and pediatric populations.
-
Preferred experience working in Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) or outpatient psychiatric settings.
-
A patient-centered mindset that values thorough assessments over rapid turnarounds.
Perks!:
-
Competitive Compensation: Hourly rate ranging from $62.50 to $81.73/hr.
-
Built-In Administrative Relief: A dedicated CMA handles your prior authorizations and pending scripts so you can just focus on medicine.
-
Elite Clinical Mentorship: Weekly structured supervision with our Psychiatrist Medical Director (MD, PhD) alongside unlimited clinical support whenever you need it.
-
Comprehensive Benefits Package: Full medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and life insurance.
-
Financial & Future Security: 401(k) plan with a company match and short-term disability coverage.
Shift:
-
Hours: 40 hours per week
-
Structure: An excellent balance of 30 client-facing hours and 10 hours dedicated strictly to documentation and administrative tasks. Includes a 30-minute daily lunch break.
-
Clinic Operating Hours: Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, and Saturdays from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
