Job Summary
Our client is seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join their dynamic team in a fast-paced facility. The primary responsibility of this role involves assisting in vascular access and general surgeries. Candidates must be skilled in handling surgical procedures independently, with no Surgical Assistant present, and be comfortable with retracting and assisting as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on assistance during vascular access surgeries and general surgeries.
- Work independently with the surgeon without the assistance of a Surgical Assistant/First Assist.
- Confidently retract and assist the surgeon in a small facility setting.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in surgical settings, specifically in vascular access and general surgery.
- Confidence and skill in working solo with the surgeon.
- Experience retracting and assisting in surgical procedures.
- First Assist experience is preferred but not required.
Skills
- Technical competency in vascular access surgery.
- Strong foundation in general surgical procedures.
Additional Requirements
- Regular Monday to Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, or until closing; OT likely. No on-call hours or major holidays.
