Job Summary
Our client is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join their team. This role involves managing patient care, handling high-volume communication, and administering specialized clinical treatments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structured hospital or clinic departments, and will be eager to make a significant impact in the oncology department.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a daily volume of 20 to 30 patients on the treatment machine.
- Conduct 3 to 4 patient consults per day, plus an additional 10 to 12 patient follow-ups.
- Handle high-volume communication including phone calls and electronic messages.
- Administer specialized clinical treatments, notably Elegard injections.
- Process clinical documentation and paperwork.
- Coordinate care and prioritize workflows for unscheduled patients presenting symptoms.
- Perform clinic rooming, utilize electronic systems, and support clinical procedures.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- 2+ years of experience as an RN.
- Strong background in structured hospital or clinic departments.
- Exceptional time management, prioritization, and independent day-management skills.
Skills
- Strong background in ICU or Emergency Department.
- Oncology, Urology or ENT background is highly preferred.
- Experience with Epic EMR system is highly preferred.
- Experience with Mosaic and/or Arya systems and cardiac monitor/scope equipment is preferred.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. No weekends or holidays.
