Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Lead Medical Coordinator (RN( responsible for coordinating team-based medical care for children in the center, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring compliance with medical information upload requirements.
Responsibilities / Job Duties
- Coordinate team-based medical care for children placed in the center.
- Prepare, compile, submit, and maintain accurate medical records, files, forms, and statistics.
- Review ORR portal for compliance and ensure updates are input as needed.
- Provide medical updates to sponsors, family members, and clients.
- Participate in medical and resource development prior to children’s discharge.
- Plan, coordinate, and evaluate all medical needs of children for designated social service programs.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with medical care providers.
- Provide information on delays in medical assessments.
- Attend scheduled meetings and represent medical needs of children.
- Coordinate medical resources for employees and resource family homes.
- Adhere to Child Abuse and reporting requirements.
- Complete tasks and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality or customer service satisfaction.
- Attend meetings and training as needed or requested.
- Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor or management.
Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements
Education
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor’s degree (BSN).
Qualifications
- Open to new grad RNs who are eager for an opportunity and passionate about the role.
Experience
- 2+ years working experience in child welfare preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in public health or a healthcare setting with care coordination, health administration, or direct clinical care noted.
Schedule / Shift
Monday - Friday 8a - 5p
