Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (No weekends, no on-call)
Certification / License: Active credentialing by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in OB/GYN, or RDMS with dedicated Maternal-Fetal Medicine experience. Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification and Fetal Echocardiogram certification (or equivalent specialized training) required.
Travel ContractPay: Up to $3315/weekly gross (max travel stipend offered for eligible travelers)
Local Contract Pay: Up to $75/hr
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality specialized diagnostic ultrasound examinations for high-risk obstetric patients, averaging 7–8 complex scans per shift using Philips equipment.
- Execute specialized scans including Nuchal Translucency (NT), Biophysical Profiles (BPP), Level 2 detailed ultrasounds, fetal echocardiograms, and detailed first and second-trimester scans.
- Collaborate closely with Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists, perinatologists, and clinic care teams to deliver clear diagnostic visuals and report preliminary findings.
- Maintain clinical accuracy and patient comfort across three clinic practice sites while adhering to facility imaging protocols and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Certification / License: Active credentialing by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in OB/GYN, or RDMS with dedicated Maternal-Fetal Medicine experience.
- Speciality Certifications: Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification and Fetal Echocardiogram certification (or equivalent specialized training) required.
- BLS Certification: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
- Experience: Proven experience in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) and performing fetal echocardiograms. Must have specialized experience with high-risk OB/MFM (pediatric-only ultrasound experience is not applicable).
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel sonography experience.
- Strong familiarity with Philips ultrasound equipment software and workflows.
