CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT

An Orthopedic Clinic in Everett is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to join their team.

Overview of Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and act as a dedicated patient care coordinator.
• Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain clinical supplies.
• Obtain patient vitals, medical history, and document chief complaints.
• Assist providers with clinic procedures and positioning patients.
• Manage laboratory specimens and report test results to patients.
• Handle phone triage, post-op calls, and electronic record charting.
• Coordinate diagnostic testing and maintain communication with referring physicians.

Schedule/Shift:

• Monday - Friday
• 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM (Variable)

Pay: $22.19 - $42.72 an hour (Dependant on experience)

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
• Current Washington State Medical Assistant Certification.

Additional Skills:

• Orthopedic experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and medical terminology.
• Strong interpersonal skills including compassion, empathy, and patience.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and critical thinking skills.

Contract Length: 1040 Hours. Opportunity to convert to permanent hire after satisfactory completion of contract.
