Job Summary
Our client seeks a PET Technologist responsible for covering two GE scanner sites. The technologist will primarily work with PET scans in a high-volume center. The role involves a heavy administrative workload and requires expertise in multiple charting systems.
Responsibilities
- Cover two diagnostic GE scanner sites.
- Handle PET scans efficiently in a busy, high-volume center.
- Manage complex workflow and administrative paperwork.
- Utilize Athena, Mosaic, and Carestream PACS for charting and imaging.
- Collaborate with Medical Assistants and other staff members to optimize patient care.
Qualifications
- Nuclear Medicine Certification via ARRT or NMTCB.
- Active Texas State License.
- Hazmat Certification (required prior or shortly after starting).
- Experience with Athena, Mosaic, or Carestream PACS is preferred.
- Oncology experience preferred.
Schedule / Shift
Shift 1: 6:30 AM – 4:35 PM.
Shift 2: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
