Job Summary
We are seeking a Payment Representative for our client to oversee revenue cycle management, ensuring accurate, timely claim submissions and efficient processing of claims. You will be responsible for claim submission, rejection resolution, account management, auditing, and providing exceptional patient support.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of charge/revenue capture for accurate claim submissions.
- Perform electronic transmissions of claims and verify claim information.
- Investigate and process claim rejections or underpayments.
- Monitor billing work queues and maintain efficient accounts receivable levels.
- Interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and handle client/patient refunds.
- Retrieve and audit daily provider charges, ensuring accuracy.
- Address and resolve patient billing inquiries or disputes.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of healthcare billing or patient accounting experience required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Fast, efficient alphanumeric and 10-key data entry skills.
- Strong computer literacy with experience in multiple software systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and sharp analytical skills.
Experience
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in healthcare billing or patient accounting.
Skills
- Technical Aptitude: Strong computer literacy and ability to navigate electronic billing platforms.
- Communication & Analytics: Sharp analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.
