Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Patient Access Manager responsible for overseeing the daily functions of patient registration and intake departments across multiple regional healthcare facilities. This role ensures compliance with corporate policies and regulations while improving processes and managing a dedicated team to enhance patient service outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Direct and manage daily functions of patient registration and intake.
- Compliance & Policy Alignment: Ensure operations comply with policies, standards, and regulations.
- Team Leadership & Development: Hire, train, and evaluate regional registration supervisors and staff.
- Quality Assurance & Auditing: Conduct workflow audits and analyze satisfaction reports for improvements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to optimize intake processes.
- Incident & Problem Resolution: Resolve complex registration incidents and patient complaints.
- Personnel & Administrative Management: Maintain accurate records using designated software systems.
- Process Improvement (PI): Develop and implement quality improvement projects.
Qualifications
- 3 years of supervisory/manager experience in patient access.
- Experience with union/nonunion employee leadership.
- Preferred: Cerner experience.
