Job Summary
Our client is seeking mission-driven Family Medicine professionals to join a Chicago-based FQHC. The position involves providing full-spectrum outpatient care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment serving predominantly Spanish-speaking and underserved populations. Qualified candidates will see approximately 24–25 patients per day and have dedicated administrative time for inbox management, charting, results review, and patient follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient family medicine care to a diverse patient population.
- Manage a daily schedule of approximately 24–25 patients (2.7 patients per hour).
- Engage in patient-centered communication and deliver care aligned with the organization’s mission-focused culture.
- Utilize Athena EMR for patient records and documentation.
- Conduct clinical activities onsite while having flexibility for remote administrative duties.
Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine MD/DO or experienced NP/PA.
- Active Illinois medical license and DEA registration required.
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish with strong verbal communication skills.
- Experience in community health, FQHC, safety-net, or underserved settings is strongly preferred.
Experience
- Prior experience in family medicine, community health, or working with underserved populations is preferred.
- Proficiency in using Athena EMR and team-based care models is highly valued.

Schedule/Shift
Outpatient Family Medicine schedule consisting of 3 clinic days per week at 8 hours per day, plus 1 Saturday per month. Dedicated administrative time is included, with 30 minutes of admin time for every 4 hours of clinic worked. No call responsibilities.
