CT Technologist (Outpatient – Oncology & Urology Focus)

Salary: $2,655 – $2,895 / week (depending on experience) Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our premier Radiation and Oncology Center in Lawrenceville, NJ. In this role, you will provide direct patient care under physician supervision, supporting our vision to be a leading provider of high-quality, comprehensive urologic and oncologic care.

Key Responsibilities
- Advanced CT Imaging: Perform high-quality CT scans utilizing a Siemens 16-slice standard unit, strictly adhering to ALARA radiation safety standards.
- Direct Patient Care: Focus on adult and geriatric populations; safely initiate IVs, administer contrast media using an IV injector, and monitor vital signs.
- Specialized Clinical Support: Assist with clinical procedures related to oncology care, including workflows associated with brachytherapy.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications per organizational policy, including handling emergency responses to contrast or allergic reactions if necessary.
- Documentation & EMR: Maintain meticulous patient records, charting, and charge entries using Epic and Aria (alongside some manual workflows).
Schedule & Work Environment
- Setting: Outpatient Medical Group / Radiation & Oncology Center
- Hours: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Lunch: 30-minute lunch
- Work-Life Balance: No on-call requirements and no weekends!
- Patient Volume: Manageable pace of 6–10 scans per day, allowing you to focus on patient experience and clinical quality.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of dedicated CT experience.
- Certifications: Must be CT Certified and ARRT Registered.
- Clinical Skills: Confident in IV placement, contrast administration, and working with adult/geriatric patients.
Preferred:
- Direct experience operating Siemens imaging units.
- Prior experience with Epic and Aria EMR systems.
- Experience or familiarity with oncology/urology patient populations and brachytherapy workflows.
