Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (No weekends, no holidays, no on-call!)
Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00+/hour (Depending on experience; compensation is flexible for highly qualified candidates)

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled, deeply compassionate, and emotionally resilient Phlebotomist to join a specialized, fast-paced oncology clinic. In this role, you will do far more than draw blood; you will be a vital source of comfort and warmth for patients navigating complex treatments and end-of-life scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

High-Volume Specimen Collection: Perform standard care blood draws (averaging 5 tubes per patient) and handle urine/stool sample collections. Expectation is to draw approximately 30 patients per 8-hour shift within a 6-person team.

Clinical Research Support: Manage specialized clinical research trial draws ranging from 10 to 30 tubes per patient. Ensure strict timing, meticulous documentation, and adherence to protocol worksheets (tubes come pre-labeled).

Morning Rush Management: Navigate a fast-paced clinic environment, particularly during peak volume hours compressed between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM.

Compliance & Safety: Maintain precise patient identification, strict labeling protocols, and comply with all OSHA, CLIA guidelines, and Universal Precaution procedures.

(Note: Processing and spinning down of blood is handled by an internal laboratory team, allowing you to focus primarily on patient care and collection).
Candidate Profile & Requirements
Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3 to 5+ years of seasoned phlebotomy experience. * Expert Stick Capabilities: Exceptional skill with difficult, compromised, or damaged veins due to a heavy, long-term treatment patient population (experience with butterfly needles is highly preferred).
