Job Summary
Our client is seeking a high-energy, motivated, and reliable Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a thriving multi-specialty family medicine/pediatrics outpatient practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform core clinical functions including rooming patients, taking accurate vitals, checking triage details, and recording heights and weights with a focus on double-weight verifications for specialized GI cases.
- Assist providers across a variety of pediatric specialties, predominantly Pediatric Cardiology and Pediatric Gastroenterology (GI), as well as adult Women's Health.
- Conduct phlebotomy (blood draws) and standard EKGs for both pediatric and adult patient demographics.
- Maintain an exceptionally strong record of attendance and punctuality to support team members on high-volume clinic days.
- Once clinical back-office duties are mastered, have the opportunity to be cross-trained in front-office operations to support an all-hands-on-deck practice model.
Qualifications
- CMA license from an accredited institution such as NHA, AMA, NAHP, NCCT, AAMA, or AMT.
- MA Diploma from a reputable school (Fortis, All State, TESST, community college, etc.)
- Ideally 2 years of outpatient experience.
- Previous experience with pediatric multi-specialty is preferred.
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR.
