Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated OB/GYN technologist capable of performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations in a fast-paced clinical environment. The role involves managing a standard volume of 12 to 14 scans per day and collaborating closely with division physicians to ensure accurate documentation and care continuity for high-risk patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic OB/GYN ultrasound examinations.
- Manage daily volume of 12 to 14 scans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with physicians.
- Identify normal and abnormal anatomy; flag cases for physician review.
- Coordinate care continuity for high-risk patients with referrals to MFM specialists.
- Maintain, clean, and properly utilize ultrasound equipment.
Qualifications
- Active certification in OB/GYN sonography (ARDMS or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a dedicated OB/GYN clinical setting.
- Proficiency in obstetric and gynecological scanning protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration within a team.
Experience
- 2 years of experience working in a dedicated OB/GYN clinical setting.
- Experience operating and navigating newer GE ultrasound technology.
Skills
- Strong proficiency in routine obstetric and gynecological scanning protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain patient pace while providing compassionate care.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within a tight-knit team.
