Job Description
Medix is seeking a highly skilled, adaptable, and polished Radiology Technologist II for an exclusive contract assignment with our premier healthcare client, Sollis Health, at their facility in Beverly Hills, CA. In this role, you will act as a key travel clinician, operating multi-modality diagnostic equipment and performing advanced clinical imaging procedures.
This specialized, tech-forward facility caters to high-profile clientele, requiring a unique blend of elite technical competence and exceptional, high-touch customer service. Medix is working closely with this client to fill this critical opening with a professional who thrives in an interdisciplinary environment and is eager to support diverse clinical workflows.
Position Overview
This role offers a dynamic and varying pace, averaging approximately 20 patients per 24 hours. Candidates must be highly self-motivated, maintaining sharp focus and attention to detail during low-volume downtime, while possessing the ability to immediately pivot into an organized, high-priority triage mindset when high-acuity patients arrive back-to-back.
In addition to core imaging duties, this position features an interdisciplinary workflow where you will be cross-trained to run point-of-care laboratory tests. You will be fully supported by on-site nursing staff who manage IV placements, allowing you to focus on advanced imaging execution and lab processing.
Key Responsibilities
-
Independently administer comprehensive diagnostic imaging services across multiple modalities (specifically CT and X-ray) based on provider requisitions.
-
Execute advanced imaging protocols, including programming and operating mechanical power injector systems for contrast-enhanced CT scans.
-
Review, process, and transfer diagnostic datasets directly into facility health records and electronic tracking systems immediately upon study completion.
-
Process prepared clinical specimens (blood, urine, swabs) through specialized point-of-care laboratory hardware, assisting with routine quality control (QC) tracking and general lab compliance (comprehensive on-site training provided).
-
Monitor patient well-being during the imaging process, proactively recognizing discomfort and maintaining an exceptional verbal communication style tailored for a high-profile clientele.
-
Handle highly sensitive and confidential health data with absolute discretion, strictly adhering to data privacy and non-disclosure protocols.
-
Perform routine administrative, clerical, and operational support duties as requested by the site leadership team to optimize patient delivery pathways.
Job Requirements
-
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
-
Licensure: Current California state licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist (General Radiographer).
-
Certification: Primary professional registration and credentials spanning multiple core imaging modalities (ARRT).
-
Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of active post-licensure clinical experience independently cross-covering both CT and X-ray.
-
Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated hands-on familiarity operating major manufacturer imaging platforms, specifically GE technology configurations, without requiring foundational software training.
-
Laboratory Readiness: Total willingness to handle, process, and run clinical fluid/tissue specimens under standardized laboratory protocols.
-
Compliance: Full compliance with facility-mandated health screenings and infectious disease documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Over 2 years of active multi-modality clinical practice to minimize localized procedural onboarding.
-
Professional background working within specialized, customer-centric clinical environments, private medicine structures, or urgent/emergent triage footprints.
-
Advanced comfort interfacing with specialized, high-profile clientele with a flexible, tactful, and patient demeanor.
