Now Hiring: Cardiac Device Nurse (RN)
Multiple Openings Across the Greater Chicago Area (New Lenox, Naperville & Elgin)
Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
We are actively hiring experienced Cardiac Device Nurses to join a highly respected outpatient cardiology team providing specialized care for patients with pacemakers, ICDs, loop recorders, and complex cardiac conditions.
This is an excellent opportunity for nurses seeking a stable weekday schedule, strong physician collaboration, and a high level of autonomy in a specialized cardiac setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interrogate and program pacemakers, ICDs, and implantable cardiac devices
- Perform ECG rhythm interpretation and arrhythmia assessment
- Coordinate remote monitoring through Latitude, Carelink, Merlin, and Biotronik
- Provide patient education, wound assessments, and post-operative care
- Collaborate closely with electrophysiology physicians and cardiac specialists
- Triage device-related patient calls and support remote follow-up care
- Maintain detailed clinical documentation and device records
Required Experience:
- RN with ASN or BSN required
- Minimum 2–3 years of direct cardiac device or cardiovascular experience required
- Must have hands-on experience interrogating cardiac devices
- Experience in outpatient cardiology, EP lab, hospital cardiology testing, or cardiac device industry strongly preferred
- Strong ECG and arrhythmia interpretation skills required
Preferred:
- EPIC experience
- ACLS Certification
- Cardiac Device Certification
