Job Summary
Our client is seeking a qualified Counselor to provide high-quality counseling tailored to client needs, focusing on both individual and group therapy. The primary responsibilities of the role include developing and implementing treatment plans, maintaining clinical documentation, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support clients through crisis interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Individual & Group Therapy – Deliver high-quality counseling tailored to client needs.
- Develop & Implement Treatment Plans – Create personalized recovery plans that drive meaningful change.
- Maintain Clinical Documentation – Ensure accurate records to support treatment effectiveness.
- Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team – Work alongside clinicians, medical staff, and leadership.
- Support Crisis Intervention – Help clients navigate challenges with compassionate care.
- Stay Current with Best Practices – Continuously improve skills through training and supervision.
Skills

Certifications
Active Maryland License: CSC or CAC, LCSW, LMSW, LCPC, etc.
Experience
- Prior experience with inpatient mental health/substance abuse treatment
