Medical Front Desk Representative

What You’ll Do
• Welcome and check in patients while creating a positive and professional experience
• Verify insurance eligibility and accurately collect patient information to support smooth billing and registration processes
• Schedule appointments and coordinate provider calendars while following clinic scheduling protocols
• Support patients with portal access, MyChart setup, and other digital tools
• Navigate multiple EMR systems during an ongoing Epic transition
• Answer phones, assist with patient questions, and provide exceptional customer service
• Collect copays and maintain accurate documentation
• Work collaboratively with providers and clinical staff to keep daily operations running efficiently
What We’re Looking For
• 2+ years of experience in a medical front office, patient access, or healthcare administrative role preferred
• Experience with Epic required
• Understanding of insurance verification, eligibility, referrals, and patient registration workflows
• Strong computer and multitasking skills with the ability to adapt quickly to new systems
• Professional communication skills and a patient-first mindset
• Ability to stay organized and composed in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus, but not required
