## Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced MRI Technician. The role involves performing magnetic resonance imaging tasks, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality images. This position is ideal for local candidates interested in potential contract-to-hire opportunities.
## Responsibilities
- Interview patients to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures and ensure safety measures are followed.
- Position patients on examining table and operate MRI equipment per Radiologist protocols.
- Demonstrate and facilitate patient-technologist communication during exams.
- Enter relevant patient data and specifications into MRI equipment systems.
- Execute scan sequences and perform necessary equipment adjustments.
- Monitor patient comfort and safety through control room observation.
- Review MRI images to assure clarity and quality.
## Qualifications
- MRI specialty training certification (ARRT-MR)
- NYS RT License with Injection
- Active BLS training
- 3 years of MRI Tech experience
## Schedule / Shift
Monday to Friday with rotating days off, no weekends. Shifts are three 12-hour periods from 11am-11pm.
