Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Nurse Supervisor (RN) to lead clinical operations within a memory care setting. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing clinical services, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting staff development, and maintaining high-quality resident care standards.
The ideal candidate is a strong clinical leader with experience in senior care, staff supervision, and quality management who thrives in a collaborative and resident-focused environment.
Responsibilities / Job Duties
- Oversee and manage daily clinical operations within the assisted living community.
- Develop, implement, and maintain clinical policies and procedures in accordance with state regulations and evidence-based practice.
- Supervise, mentor, and support licensed and unlicensed clinical staff.
- Coordinate staffing plans and ensure adequate clinical coverage to meet resident needs 24/7.
- Conduct audits, monitor documentation accuracy, and ensure compliance with assisted living regulations.
- Lead quality improvement and infection control initiatives.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacies, hospice, therapy providers, and external healthcare partners to coordinate resident care.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, performance management, and staff development initiatives.
- Assist with resident assessments, care planning, and family communication as needed.
- Respond to clinical concerns, emergencies, and on-call needs.
- Support state surveys, complaint investigations, and regulatory readiness efforts.
- Promote a positive team culture focused on resident-centered care and clinical excellence.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Minnesota.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience required.
- At least 3 years of experience in elder care, assisted living, long-term care, home care, or related senior healthcare settings.
- Previous supervisory or management experience required.
- Strong understanding of Minnesota assisted living regulations and clinical compliance standards.
Schedule / Shift
- Full-Time
- Primarily daytime leadership schedule with flexibility based on operational needs
- On-call availability required for clinical support and emergencies
