Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Director of Pharmacy to lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary team within a dynamic pharmacy setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end prescription journey, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating on strategic initiatives to drive operational efficiency and align with long-term business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a multi-disciplinary team of Staff Pharmacists, Technicians, and support staff.
- Design and implement high-efficiency staffing models and workflows to meet high-volume demands without compromising quality.
- Maintain a continuous state of readiness for FDA, DEA, and State Board inspections, acting as the expert on USP <795>, <797>, and <800>.
- Build and maintain a robust SOP framework, implementing Lean/Six Sigma-style improvements to both physical layout and digital systems.
- Collaborate with the Executive Team and Compliance Committee to align operational output with long-term business goals.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited institution.
- Active Kansas Pharmacist License (or eligibility to obtain immediately).
- 5+ years in pharmacy management, ideally in a high-growth or high-throughput setting.
- A compliance-forward leader who thrives on creating order out of complexity.
- Experience in 503A or 503B compounding environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with GLP-1, HRT, or functional medicine is advantageous.
- Lean Six Sigma certification or sterile compounding certification (BCSCP) is a plus.

- 5+ years in pharmacy management, ideally in a high-growth or high-throughput setting.
