Job Summary
Join our client's team as an Ophthalmic Technician, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care. Your primary responsibilities include performing patient workups, obtaining medical histories, and conducting specialized diagnostic testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient workups and obtain patient medical histories.
- Conduct specialized diagnostic testing.
- Prepare examination and treatment rooms.
- Maintain a clean working environment and keep rooms and equipment stocked.
- Provide general clinic support functions.
Qualifications
- Some type of healthcare experience (MA, phleb, CNA, etc.)
- Good tenure in previous positions.
- COA- or COT-certified is preferred.
Skills
- Proficiency in patient workup processes and diagnostic testing.
- Strong organizational skills to prepare and maintain examination rooms.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical team.
Additional Requirements
Travel requirement involves traveling within a 20-mile radius twice a week, with compensation provided for travel exceeding 15 miles or 25 minutes from home to the clinic.
