An Oncology Clinic in Seattle is looking for a Medical Assistant to join their team!
Overview of Responsibilities:
- Manage the patient rooming process, including obtaining vital signs, blood pressure, weight, pulse, and height.
- Conduct thorough medical screenings by verifying medications, allergies, and patient history.
- Assist healthcare providers with direct patient care and clinical procedures.
- Complete essential patient paperwork and clinical documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Support clinic operations by maintaining a steady and efficient pace for the provider team.
Schedule/Shift:
- Monday - Friday.
- 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
Pay: $26 - $29 an hour(Dependant on experience)
Requirements:
- Active Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) credential in the state of Washington.
- Proficiency in clinical intake and history verification.
Additional Skills:
- 1+ year of experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
- Previous experience in Oncology is highly preferred and will set a candidate apart.
- Strong attention to detail regarding patient history and medical records.
Contract Length: 13 weeks. Opportunity to convert to permanent hire after satisfactory completion of contract.
