Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join their healthcare team. The primary responsibilities include preparing examination rooms, assisting medical professionals during exams and procedures, and managing patient information and appointments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare examination rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and stock of supplies.
- Escort patients to exam rooms and assist in gathering vital information such as vital signs, health history, and symptoms.
- Assist physicians or advanced practice nurses during exams and procedures.
- Perform Point of Care testing and administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow effectively.
- Update and maintain patient records in EPIC system, process referrals, and coordinate with pharmacies, labs, and imaging services.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Some MA experience is required.
- Problem-solving experience and clinical experience are required.
- Experience in administering injections and performing EKGs.
- Ability to take manual blood pressure readings.
- Injection training and a positive attitude.
- EPIC experience is preferred.
Skills
- Technical skills including the ability to administer injections and perform EKGs.

Schedule/Shift
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 7:45 am - 5:00 pm
- Thursday: 10:00 am - 7:00 pm
- Friday: 7:45 am - 3:00 pm
- No weekends
