Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to coordinate the care of ill and injured workers, facilitate return to work assessments, and manage fit-for-duty evaluations. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance with health and safety standards and delivering comprehensive health services to employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate care and manage return to work assessments for employees.
- Engage with medical resources to support clinical activities, including virtual screenings and medical evaluations.
- Partner with HR for compliance with FMLA, ADA, and medical testing requirements.
- Deliver quality basic and advanced life support in collaboration with emergency response teams.
- Administer comprehensive occupational health programs, including medical monitoring and assessments.
- Work with vendors to facilitate health services programs as per business needs.
- Participate in risk assessments and chemical clearance processes.
- Provide health coaching and champion wellness programs.
- Maintain data confidentiality and compliance with electronic medical records systems.
Qualifications
- RN Nursing Degree or higher.
- An unencumbered nursing license and ability to obtain a license if not currently licensed in the state.
- Preferred experience in Occupational Health, ER, or Urgent Care.
Additional Requirements
Part-time hours: 20 hours per week, including 3 days onsite and 2 days virtual work for documentation and virtual care.
