Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to travel to suppliers and conduct audits to ensure compliance with regulations and address any concerns. This role involves extensive travel throughout the country and may include desktop audits, allowing for some work-from-home opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct supplier audits to ensure regulatory compliance and identify potential issues.
- Schedule and coordinate audits with suppliers across the country.
- Draft audit reports and assist in following up with vendors on action items.
- Evaluate and understand quality agreements, integrating them into audit processes.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in supplier quality and qualification.
- Industry experience in Pharma or 503B is advantageous.
- Strong auditing skills; certification in auditing is a plus.
- Ability to draft reports and manage corrective actions post-audit.
- Familiarity with quality agreements is beneficial.
Skills
- Technical skills in auditing and report drafting.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Additional Requirements
This position requires the candidate to be based near a major airport to facilitate travel for audits.
