Pay: $2700-$2900 for weekly travel gross pay, $65/hr for local talent.
Medix is currently seeking a skilled Vascular Ultrasound Technician for an exciting travel or contract-to-hire opportunity with a premier cardiovascular surgical group in the Denver Metro area. We are looking for a dedicated clinician to join a high-performing team that specializes in advanced vascular, thoracic, and cardiac care.
In this role, you will work closely with a team of board-certified surgeons to provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging. This position offers a dynamic work environment across multiple clinical sites in the Denver area, focusing on high-quality patient care and advanced endovascular techniques.
Responsibilities

Clinical Excellence & Imaging: Perform high-quality duplex images and waveforms, including carotid, venous, and arterial (native and bypass conduit) duplex, pulse volume recordings, and Doppler waveform analysis.

Documentation: Manage clinical documentation and dictation for approximately 15 ultrasound exams per day with a heavy emphasis on fistula scans and varicose veins.

Equipment Management: Operate and maintain GE Logiq ultrasound systems and associated equipment.

Patient Care: Greet and prepare patients for exams, ensuring a professional and empathetic experience while maintaining strict HIPAA confidentiality.

Clinic Operations: Maintain sanitized and stocked exam rooms; assist with patient scheduling and flow to optimize clinic efficiency.

Collaboration: Work effectively with the surgical team and office staff, contributing to a positive team environment and assisting with office duties as needed.
Requirements

Certification: Active ARDMS/RVT or CCI/RVS credential is required.

Experience: 2–4 years of experience in a vascular laboratory setting is preferred.

Life Support: Current BLS and CPR certifications.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with EMR systems (eClinicalWorks experience is a plus) and standard office equipment.

Reliability: Must have reliable transportation to travel between clinical sites in Lone Tree, Aurora, Englewood, and Lakewood.

Soft Skills: Ability to remain calm in stressful situations, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to punctuality.
