Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join their team. The primary responsibilities include preparing examination rooms, assisting physicians during examinations, administering injections, and managing patient flow while maintaining high standards of accuracy in documentation and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare examination rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness, sterilization, and stock supplies.
- Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain vital signs, weight, height, health history, and symptoms.
- Assist physicians or APNs during exams and procedures.
- Perform Point of Care testing, administer intramuscular and Sub Q injections, and handle referrals and prior authorizations.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate with pharmacies, labs, and imaging.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Some MA experience
- Problem-solving and clinical experience
- Ability to administer injections and perform EKGs
- Ability to take manual blood pressure
- Positive attitude

- Mostly 8am-5pm schedule with rotating Saturday shifts
