Medical Assistant – Join a Fast-Paced, Patient-Focused Team
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Medical Assistant (MA) to join our growing healthcare team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with patients in a collaborative clinical environment. No specialty experience is required, we’re looking for individuals with a positive attitude, strong clinical fundamentals, and a passion for patient care.
What You’ll Do
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in creating a smooth and welcoming patient experience while supporting providers with both clinical and administrative responsibilities.
Clinical Responsibilities

Prepare exam rooms for patient visits, including cleaning, sterilizing, and stocking supplies

Escort patients to exam rooms and collect vital patient information including:
-
Assist physicians and Advanced Practice Nurses during exams and procedures
-
Perform Point-of-Care testing
-
Administer intramuscular (IM) and subcutaneous (Sub-Q) injections
-
Perform EKGs
-
Take manual blood pressure readings
-
Support quality patient care initiatives and maintain accurate documentation
Administrative Responsibilities

Schedule patient appointments as needed
-
Manage patient flow to ensure efficient clinic operations
-
Update and maintain patient records in EPIC
-
Coordinate referrals and prior authorizations
-
Communicate with pharmacies, laboratories, and imaging centers

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
-
Previous Medical Assistant experience
-
Basic clinical experience in a healthcare setting

Experience administering injections and performing EKGs
-
Ability to take manual blood pressure readings

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Positive, team-oriented attitude
Preferred Qualifications
Schedule
-
Clinic hours: 6:45 AM – 6:00 PM

Employees work 8-hour shifts Monday–Friday
-
Occasional Saturday shifts may be required
