Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Data Coordinator responsible for inputting and managing data from electronic medical records and other relevant documents. The role involves ensuring data accuracy and responding to study queries, while maintaining patient rights and safety throughout clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities
- Input data into the electronic data collection system (EDC) within required timelines.
- Address sponsor study team queries and meet contract deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff for internal query resolution.
- Schedule, prepare for, and attend monitoring visits, ensuring all data is current.
- Provide updates to the Clinical Trial Specialist and escalate issues promptly.
- Submit protocol deviations per contract timelines.
- Review, redline, and file confirmation and follow-up letters from monitoring visits.
- Meet data management deadlines from internal and external teams.
- Ensure the protection of patient rights, safety, and welfare.
- Maintain certifications in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Good Documentation Practice (GDP).
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of Clinical Research experience.
- Strong knowledge of data and research terminology.
- Not job hoppy.
- Low level Reg specialist or Clinical Trials Assistant experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or a minimum of 1-2 years in a healthcare or research-related field.
Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in Clinical Research.
Skills
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneNote).
- Working knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical terminology.
