A growing healthcare organization is seeking a Pain Management Physician (Board-Certified Pain Management or Internal Medicine) or Nurse Practitioner to join a dynamic outpatient practice in Los Banos, CA focused on comprehensive, patient-centered pain care. This is a non-anesthesia role with flexibility for both interventional and non-interventional providers.
This opportunity is ideal for clinicians passionate about treating chronic, sub-acute, and complex pain conditions, particularly spine and musculoskeletal disorders, while collaborating with primary care providers and rehabilitation specialists to improve long-term patient outcomes.
Position Highlights
For Physicians:
• 1099 structure with compensation based on patient volume and procedures
• Significant earning potential up to $600,000+ for physicians performing interventional procedures
• Flexible scheduling with outpatient clinic + hospital call opportunities for increased income
For Nurse Practitioners:
• Employed salary model
• Estimated compensation: $125,000–$150,000 annually
• Approximate hourly rate: $85/hour
Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate and manage patients with chronic, sub-acute, and complex pain conditions
• Focus on spine, musculoskeletal, and functional restoration treatment plans
• Manage medication regimens, including opioid and non-opioid therapies for non-interventional tracks
• See approximately 20–30 outpatient visits per day
• Serve as a consultative pain specialist for referring primary care providers
• Collaborate with PT/OT teams to emphasize functional improvement and quality of life
Interventional Opportunities for Physicians
• Fluoroscopic-guided epidural steroid injections (ESIs)
• Facet joint injections and sacroiliac joint injections
• Radiofrequency ablations (RFA)
• Nerve blocks
• Spinal cord stimulator (SCS) evaluations and management
• Intrathecal pump management
Qualifications
• Board-Certified Pain Management Physician OR Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician
• Nurse Practitioners with relevant pain management experience encouraged to apply
• Strong experience with chronic pain, musculoskeletal, or spine disorders preferred
• Interventional procedure skills highly valued for physicians seeking maximum compensation
• Collaborative, patient-focused approach to care
Schedule
