Job Summary
Our client is seeking a versatile Enterprise Project Manager to join a growing PMO at a leading pediatric health system. This individual will act as a "utility player," capable of managing 3–4 concurrent projects, ranging from technical infrastructure and network upgrades to clinical system integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the integration of Alaris pump systems with the Epic EHR.
- Managing the Distributed Antenna System (DAS) cellular upgrade and pneumatic tube system modernizations.
- Helping standardize project delivery as the team expands its internal footprint.
- Managing vendor relationships, adhering to timelines, and navigating a primarily Waterfall environment.
- Utilizing a mixture of traditional, hybrid, and Agile project management methodologies.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Project Management experience in an enterprise environment.
- Comfortable managing projects involving hardware, networking, or clinical applications.
- Strong proficiency in Waterfall with an understanding of Agile for internal sprints.
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) is preferred; familiarity with ServiceNow or Smartsheets is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and communicate effectively with high-level stakeholders.
Experience
- Minimum of 4-6 years project management experience, including medium to large-size projects.
- Experience in a healthcare environment working with clinical and/or departmental systems implementations is preferred but not required.
Skills
- Technical skills: Experience with IT project management tools such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, MS SharePoint, and MS Azure DevOps.
- Soft skills: Adaptability, strategic thinking, communication, and team management.
Additional Requirements
- Must be local to Birmingham and commute to the downtown campus 4 days a week (no travel reimbursement provided).
