Job Summary
Our client is seeking an Epic Ambulatory Analyst. This position involves providing advanced maintenance, support, and development for assigned applications within an Epic Garden Plot Model. The role requires participating in project teams for upgrades, optimizations, and maintenance while resolving complex data/system issues and developing integrated test plans.
Key Responsibilities

- Adhere to organizational standards for system configuration and change control.
- Develop, support, and maintain KB documentation.
- Work on helpdesk tickets in assigned applications and meet SLA deadlines.
- Gather requirements, develop specifications, and prepare documentation.
- Inform leaders of new release features/functionality impacting operations.
- Engage in process improvement, demand management, and project management.
- Maintain up-to-date technology knowledge through continuing education.
- Establish and maintain detailed knowledge of EPIC EHR/PM functionality and use.
- Identify areas for improvement and efficiency in EPIC use.
- Coordinate, setup, and maintain usernames and passwords for employees.
- Participate in rotating on-call after-hours support program.
- Train new hires and other personnel as needed.
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and abide by HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent work experience required.
- Current Epic Ambulatory certification(s) required.
- Three to five years of Epic application and healthcare experience required.
- Three to five years of IT knowledge, analyst work, EpicCare Ambulatory experience preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office required.
- Excellent people skills and professionalism.
- Basic knowledge of computer networks and systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and clinic data.
- Ability to clearly explain technical topics, verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work well independently or as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills requiring skill and ingenuity.
