Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Ultrasound Technician to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound equipment. The primary responsibilities include obtaining high-quality images, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and accurately documenting findings in accordance with clinical protocols to assist physicians in diagnosing and monitoring medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities

Diagnostic Imaging Excellence: Execute complex ultrasound examinations following physician orders, utilizing advanced sonographic techniques to capture high-resolution diagnostic images.

Technical Optimization: Expertly calibrate and adjust imaging equipment settings to ensure maximum clarity, accuracy, and detail for interpretation by radiologists or attending physicians.

Patient Advocacy & Education: Serve as a clinical guide for patients by clearly explaining procedural steps, ensuring physical comfort, and maintaining a supportive environment during scans.

Quality Assurance & Analysis: Critically evaluate real-time imagery for diagnostic integrity, proactively performing additional views or repeat scans as necessary to meet clinical standards.

Clinical Documentation: Maintain meticulous records within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), ensuring the accurate transfer of patient data and findings.

Equipment Stewardship & Compliance: Perform routine equipment maintenance and quality control checks while upholding strict adherence to HIPAA privacy standards and facility safety protocols.
