Job Summary

Our client is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to perform necessary procedures using non-invasive methods, educate staff on respiratory therapy, and assist in therapy programs based on physicians' instructions. The role includes engaging in diagnostic evaluation and collaborating with nursing staff for appropriate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform necessary procedures with non-invasive methods such as CPAP and BIPAP therapies
• Educate and counsel staff members on basic respiratory therapy procedures
• Assist with therapy programs for patients based on the specific instructions of Physicians
• Engage in diagnostic evaluation, treatment and control of deficiencies and abnormal functions found in the patient's cardiopulmonary system
• Collaborate with nursing staff to administer blood gas samples and perform basic analysis

Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist Certification
• BLS Certification
• 6+ months of experience in a similar setting
• Must Pass Nicotine Screen
• AllScripts and/or Cerner Experience (Preferred)
