Medical Assistant – Specialty Clinic

Location: Humble, Texas

We are partnering with a fast-growing specialty clinic in Humble to hire a skilled Medical Assistant to join their team. This is a great opportunity to make a direct impact in a practice known for advanced, patient-centered care and strong clinical outcomes.

Position Details

• Pay: $20–$22/hour (DOE)
• Employment Type: Direct hire
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Location: Humble, TX (with occasional travel to nearby clinic locations)

Key Responsibilities

• Submit orders for home health services and DME (Durable Medical Equipment)
• Enter and process imaging orders (X-rays)
• Retrieve and manage hospital records
• Handle prescription refill requests
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and support care coordination

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (2+ years preferred)
• Recent experience in podiatry or wound care required
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Wound care (including wound vacs and Unna boots)
  • Casting and splinting
  • Assisting with in-office procedures, such as:
    • Wound debridement
    • Toenail removal
    • Administering local anesthesia (numbing patients)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Experience with EMR systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred)
