Patient Concierge (Medical Administrative Representative)
We are currently seeking a high-energy, professional Patient Concierge to join a premier orthopedic and multi-specialty healthcare group in the Kansas City area. This role serves as the primary face of the clinic, responsible for ensuring a seamless, compassionate, and efficient experience for every patient from check-in to departure.
We are filling both Full-Time and Part-Time positions to support our growing operations.
Core Responsibilities

Patient Intake & Hospitality: Execute professional patient registration, guide individuals through new patient forms, and maintain a welcoming clinical environment.

Revenue Cycle Support: Verify insurance coverage and benefits, collect co-pays via POS systems, and accurately enter patient demographic and insurance data.

Clinical Coordination: Triage patient inquiries, manage internal provider communication channels, and distribute daily faxes to the appropriate clinical teams.

Health Information Management: Maintain medical records within practice management systems and assist with medical record requests and FMLA claim documentation.

Operational Support: Monitor and maintain the inventory of clinic areas and provide essential coverage across multiple regional office locations when required.
Professional Requirements

Experience: A minimum of one year of experience within a healthcare administrative or clinical environment.

Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel) and the ability to navigate complex EMR systems and instant messaging platforms.

Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to manage high-volume patient flow (up to 175 patients daily) while maintaining professional composure.

Versatility: A proactive, "take-charge" personality capable of balancing administrative duties with direct patient service.
Engagement Details

Full-Time Schedule: Monday through Friday, with rotating shifts between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM.

Part-Time Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (approximately 25 hours per week).

Compensation: $18.00 – $21.50 per hour, based on professional experience.

Location: Primary home base in Overland Park, KS, with periodic travel to Lee’s Summit, MO.

Dress Code: Business professional attire or scrubs (any color).
